A prominent participation was achieved by Siegel Family Wines in the latest edition of the 2018 Descorchados Guide by journalist Patricio Tapia, who has been recognizing the greatest exponents of the national wine industry since 1999. In this publication, Siegel consolidated an extensive and consistent career, which is marked by outstanding scores and various awards for the vast majority of its tasted wines. This milestone proved particularly successful with the “Best Colchagua Andes Wine” award to the winery’s icon redKetran, an elegant and refined violet blend of Syrah, Petit Verdot, Carmenere, and Cabernet Franc, with great aromatic intensity and notes of red fruits, good volume on the palate and juiciness, which obtained 95 points. The wine is ideal for pairing with juicy red meat.
